Webhook-powered workflows, Outlook calendar availability

Keith Peiris & Henri Liriani

This week we launched the ability to create records in Lightfield via webhook triggers. This is an early release, so we’d love if you could try it out and share any feedback you have.

Workflow builder

Workspace admins can now create automated workflows for record creation and updates.

This allows you to plug Lightfield into workflows built with other systems, like prospecting or meeting booking. You can set up triggers that listen for events sent by external applications, or configure manual triggers to query external data on request.

For help getting started with Workflow Builder, check out our documentation here, or a walkthrough from the team that built it here.

As a fast follow, we will be shipping support for updating and creating opportunities. Early next year, users will be also able to post webhook events from Lightfield to external applications.

Smaller improvements

  • Microsoft Outlook calendar availability is now integrated into agent scheduling. When the agent is asked to schedule a follow-up, it will reference availability and only include times that are open on the calendar.
