Improvements to Sequences and Automations

Keith Peiris & Henri Liriani

Early update this week: we added new capabilities to sequences and made automations more robust, reliable, and capable of sending slack or email notifications.

Sequences improvements

We’re finally adding Linkedin messaging and connection requests + notes as an option for sequence steps. This is being tested and rolled out this week.

We also improved sequence definition based on persona, value proposition, trigger, and call to action inputs, making each sequence much more narrowly defined and easier to evaluate and iterate on.

We also added the ability to send sequences directly from a Google or Outlook account connected to Lightfield, instead of just from warmed mailboxes.

Automation improvements

Automations can now be configured to send custom Slack or email notifications to members of the workspace.

We also improved the agent’s ability to retrieve and debug failed runs, and introduced debug-automation skill that can heal automations and perform and reattempt failed work.

Smaller improvements

  • Chats are now positioned toward the top of the sidebar interface
  • All list types can now be made target lists via the agent, SDK, and application UI
  • Added an MCP connector for Circleback
  • Added Sonnet 5 support
