API additions, Improved data visualizations

Keith Peiris & Henri Liriani

This week we’ve made major additions to the API to enable working with objects in Lightfield, added D3 visualizations for generated reports, and gathering feedback on knowledge and skills before enabling for all workspaces next week.

List filtering, meetings, and notes in the API

The API now supports the ability to get filtered lists of objects, enabling you to create “find or create” functionality, to identify and avoid duplicate accounts and contacts.

Additionally, we added endpoints for ‘create’ and ‘get’ notes, as well as logging past meetings and attaching transcripts to them.

Improved data visualizations

We’ve added more expressive and flexible data visualization tools for generated reports. Some new capabilities to try: area, stacked area, scatter, radar, gauge, heatmap.

Preview: Skills & Knowledge

We’re adding Skill and Knowledge file directories to Lightfield — making it much easier for agents to access useful context about your business and how to perform frequent tasks in your go-to-market.

Your existing knowledge in Settings will be migrated to the new system for you automatically. As a result, you’ll be able to build skills and knowledge files that reference each other and that can be managed for you automatically.
