Agree runs its sales pipeline through chat on Lightfield
Agree sells an AI-powered contracting and payments platform, and demand is arriving faster than the team built to handle it.
Mona Darwish joined in January 2026 as Agree's Head of Sales. She plans to aggressively scale their commercial organization, and one of the most important decisions she had to make first was what system they would all run on.
“We’re in hypergrowth mode,” she explained. “I needed something clean, and I needed it fast.”
A record that couldn't answer a sales leader's questions
Every decision Mona makes - who to hire, where to point them, what to tell the board - depends on having data she can trust. But the system she inherited was full of outdated records that reflected the previous state of their business - an e-signature tool, not a payments platform.
Mona's problem with HubSpot was that none of the data could tell her who to actually sell to. Thousands of legacy free-tier signups sat next to real prospects with nothing to distinguish them: "It didn't have the right fields in there — how much are they doing in ARR, or what type of company is it. It wasn't detailed enough for me to go in there and organize it."
Based on this, she decided on a full CRM reset, and moved new pipeline to Attio. But after a few weeks of using the CRM, she started to run into similar data hygiene issues that plagued her team with HubSpot. Attio relied on manual data entry and upkeep in order to maintain accurate records. Data quickly grew stale, and became unreliable for the type of reporting and analysis Mona needed to run her business.
Eliminating sales admin work with Lightfield
Mona decided to migrate to Lightfield after seeing how the CRM could update itself, and could answer all of the questions she had about her business with chat instead of manual report building.
To move her data over to Lightfield, all Mona needed to do was export a CSV from her previous CRM, and upload it to Lightfield’s chat. “The migration was seamless,” she explained.
Mona now manages all deal updates and follow-ups via chat - including post-meeting call analysis, follow-up email drafting, and opportunity updates. She estimates that this alone saves her multiple hours per week, and expects the impact of this to compound as she adds more salespeople.
More importantly, this ensures that the company’s sales pipeline is up to date. "When the pipeline is messy, so is the performance," explained Mona. With Lightfield, she can trust that records are always in the right forecast stage, with the right deal amount, because of the work the agent does behind the scenes to update fields from sales conversations.
Reporting in the time it takes to ask
Mona has managed sellers on Salesforce, HubSpot, and Attio, and reporting was painful on all of them. "In Salesforce, making reports makes your head spin. And in HubSpot, it’s kind of the same thing. Even the data in HubSpot was just always messier."
With Lightfield, any question Mona has can be answered via chat. On a leadership call, she asks about the expansion potential for a given account and gets the answer with context: "I can just ask chat. It pulls it up, and I can do it right on the call in two seconds,” she explained.
As the team comes on, she’s started to design dashboards for pipeline coverage and conversion, so that she can forecast the business out of Lightfield instead of a spreadsheet.
Her vision is to build Lightfield into a command center that gives her full visibility into her forecast, pipeline coverage, and rep-by-rep performance.
“I’m building visibility into Lightfield on whether we have gaps in pipeline, if we’re not selling to the right people, and what types of leads are moving the fastest,” explained Mona. “With Lightfield, I can find problems faster than other CRMs because I trust the information to be accurate and because it’s easy to query.”
Building the infrastructure for scale
Most sales leaders inherit a messy CRM and hand it down to every rep they hire; Mona is breaking that cycle before it starts. Every new rep starts with the complete record of every deal that came before them, and a pipeline they maintain via chat. Behind them is a leader with full visibility into what's working in their territory. All of this is built on a record that updates itself, with reports, dashboards, and analysis that anyone can build with prompts.
Mona now brings Lightfield up on her own sales calls, and has introduced it to other sales leaders in her network.
"We're intentionally adopting platforms that will support the type of scale we’re planning for. Lightfield is a wonderful platform for our team to grow into and I expect it to have a substantial impact on our ability to ramp new sellers.”
